- 1-2 qt
- 1-2 large
- pie crusts
- sugar to taste
1Make about the equivalet of 2 pie crusts dough. Roll out flat and cut in strips. Place on cookie sheet and bake until golden. The amount of crust is dependent on how large you want your dessert.
Hint: rather than use a knife to cut into strips, use a pizza cutter, No torn strips.
2Meanwhile, add sugar [or sweetner] to strawberries and mash with a potato masher.
3When crust is done and cool, starting, at the bottom of a 9X13 or other dish, with crust, strawberries, then crust, alternating to the top.
4If desired, add a dollop of whipped cream when served.
