This is another of those recipes from my neighbor's recipe folder.
I tried it- very good and my family liked it a lot!
This is a dense bread and tastes great toasted too!

Ingredients

1 c
whole milk
1/2 c
peanut butter
2 c
flour
1/4 tsp
salt
3 1/2 tsp
baking powder
1/3 c
sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Heat oven to 370^ (that's how the recipe reads- I set it at 350^).
Cream together milk and peanut butter until well blended.
Sift together the remaining ingredients; add to creamy mixture slow until well mixed.
Pour into well greased loaf pan (I used 5x8-inch pan).
Bake for 35 minutes.( I baked for 40 minutes)
Test with toothpick as ovens differ.

I like peanut butter, &, I like bread. This sounds like it could almost be a peanut butter sandwich, without the extra work of making it into sandwiches. Just take it, one slice at a time.
I think I'll try it.
