This recipe(with a few changes) , is from Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk. I just love this product- it is so versatile. This dessert is so creamy and delicious your family and friends will ask you to make it over and over;so be sure to have enough to go around.

Ingredients For oatmeal cheesecake squares

  • 16 oz
    pkg. refrigerated oatmeal cookies (or the 12 cookies package)room temperature
  • 2 c
    chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 2 pkg
    (8 oz. each) softened cream cheese(any flavor)
  • 14 oz
    can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 3/4 c
    light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c
    unsalted butter, cold
  • 3/4 c
    semi-sweet mini chocolate chips, or vanilla chips
  • 1 c
    dried cranberries or raisins
  • 1/2 c
    old fashioned oatmeal or quick-cooking oatmeal

How To Make oatmeal cheesecake squares

    Preheat oven to 350^.Press cookie dough evenly in an ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with one cup of the nuts and press into the dough; bake 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside. --- In a large bowl of mixer beat cream cheese on medium speed until smooth. Add milk, vanilla and eggs; beat well until blended. Turn mixer to low speed and add 1/2 cup of the flour. Pour and spread this mixture over the crust; set aside. --- In a medium bowl. mix the brown sugar and remaining flour. Cut in the cold butter, with a pastry blender, until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Stir in the chips, cranberries, oats and remaining nuts. Sprinkle evenly over cheese mixture. --- bake for 35-45 minutes or until set. Cool completely, about 2-3 hours. Store in refrigerator any remaining pieces.

    Note: chocolate cookie dough , strawberry cream cheese, chocolate chips,walnuts and cranberries are very good together. OR Pineapple cream cheese, sugar cookie dough,pecans,and butterscotch chips are good too!
