No Fuss Cheese Cake Pie

This has been my family favorite for years. I made the more time consuming cheese cakes, but this one is always my son's favorite to this day.

Ingredients

THE FILLING

2 - 8 oz
philadelphia cream cheese packages (room temp)
1 c
sugar
3 tsp
pure vanilla extract
3
eggs
1 tsp
lemon juice
1 tsp
cinnamon
1
glass - deep dish pie plate
butter - for pie plate

THE TOPPING - SOUR CREAM TOPPING BAKED IN

8 oz. tub sour cream - not plain yogurt because it won't set properly.
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1/4 c
sugar
mix all three ingredients together with spoon.

Step-By-Step

1Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.

In medium to large mixing bowl - Add all ingredients - except the sour cream,1/4 c sugar and 1 additional tsp van. ext

Beat with mixer for "5" minutes until smooth.
2Pour batter in a "well buttered" glass deep dish pie plate.

Bake on bottom rack - 30 Minutes.
3Turn Off Oven - DO NOT open oven door - wait another 15 minutes for the pie filling to settle.
4After the 15 minutes - remove the pie from the oven. Turn oven back on to 350 deg.. ... Spread Sour cream topping over the top to the edges.

Bake another 10 minutes.
5Remove from oven - garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.


Cool...then put in frig. Don't slice the pie until well chilled for a nice slicing consistency.
