Ninja Cream Cheese Frosting

Really their are some baked goods that are simply not complete without a good cream cheese frosting. Certainly,this is true for the fresh baked carrot cake, recipe I posted for the Ninja before.
I use Vegan cream cheese and a vegan margarine. But I will post this as was intended with real cream cheese and whole milk butter. But feel free to change and edit ingredients to make this recipe your own this recipe is great for that.
Add chocolate to make a creamy chocolate frosting or add almond or lemon flavor instead of vanilla extract. and put it on any cake or cookie or it is good as a fruit dip too.

Ingredients

8 oz
tofutti cream cheese(1 tub)
2 Tbsp
earth balance(vegan margarine)
3 c
powdered sugar
1 tsp
pure vanilla extract
1/4 tsp
salt

Directions Step-By-Step

Place all ingredients in the master prep pitcher.(or food processor) Secure the top and pules in 5 second increments for about 2 minutes.

Refrigerate for 2 hours to firm up before frosting your favorite dessert.

If making chocolate icing melt 1/2 cup chocolate chips in the microwave and add to the frosting and blend well to mix before refrigerating.

feel free to color and use in pastry bags to make carrots for carrot cake or any cake decorating ideas you have.

Keep leftover frosted desserts refrigerated at all times.
