1PREHEAT OVEN TO 375f. Cook old fashioned oats as directed on box. Allow to sit to cool just a bit. Mom said cold was the best way. In a large bowl mix by hand all the ingredients. Pour into a greased square pan. Bake for 40 minutes.

I think you good use any kind...but we have always used old fashioned...try them out..and let me know.
