Mom's Blueberry Cake

Growing up we called this "blueberry pudding" and it was eaten in a bowl covered with sugar and milk. I never ate it that way, it's good all by itself!
My grandson requests this for his birthday cake!

Ingredients

4 c
all purpose flour
1/4 c
butter, softened
2 c
sugar
2
eggs, slightly beaten
2 tsp
baking powder
2 tsp
vanilla
1 pt
blueberries
1 1/2 c
milk
1 pinch
salt
sanding sugar or regular sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix all ingredients in a bowl, except blueberries.

Gently fold in blueberries with a spoon or spatula. Pour into greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Sprinkle with sugar if using.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
