Tammy's Story

My 9 yr old son named this snack/dessert. (Momma sweet biscuits). Now they are requested by everyone. They are best served warm.
Here is how to prepare a great and easy kid friendly snack/ desserts.

Ingredients

2 1/2 c
fresh cooking oil
4 pkg
refrigerated biscuits or refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 1/2 c
brown sugar
2 stick
butter melted

4 tsp
powdered sugar
1 Tbsp
cinnamon, ground
1 tsp
nutmeg
1/2 c
sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Heat cooking oil, medium heat. open biscuits and place on a flat surface while oil reaches the perfect temperature. Test your oil temp by applying a few drops of water and if its hot enough to fry your biscuits the water will pop.

Prepare your brown sugar glaze in a wide deep. Brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, a squeeze of fresh lemon, and regular sugar. Mix all ingredients together than add your warm margarine to the mixture and place the bowl in the microwave and allowe mixture to be come a glaze.

Place your biscuits in the hot cooking oil, cook biscuits on both sides. First side about 30 seconds then flip to the other side. Once golden brown, full and fluffy they are ready.

Place hot biscuits straight from the hot oil into the glaze, mix well allow every biscuits to become glazed.

Arrange momma sweet biscuits on a platter and set up for your presentation, sprinkle powder sugar on your biscuits, and serve your guest.. NOW GO COOK!!

    Go to your local supermarket, buy the pilsbury Boy Country buiscuit pack. They come in a pack of 4. It costs about $3.00's.
    Make a circle out of each pattie of the biscuits or just leave it as is to make mama sweet biscuits. Try to make the rings as thin as possbile and remove the center to make doughnuts. Drop in hot cooking oil 30 seconds on both side and use the topping of your cravings, fresh fruit, whipped cream, chocolate colored apples etc.
