Mississippi Mud Cake/Brownies

Ingredients

2 stk	margarine, softened
2 c	sugar
4	eggs
1/2 c	cocoa powder
1/8 tsp	salt
1 1/2 c	plain flour
1 tsp	vanilla
ICING
1 stk	margarine
4 Tbsp	coca-cola soft drink
5 Tbsp	cocoa powder
1/2 tsp	vanilla
16 oz	powdered sugar (2 cups)
10 oz	mini-marshmallows

Patti's Notes:

We have always called this a cake but to me it is more "brownie" like. No matter what you call them, they are sinful! I like them best warm and gooey! Easy to make and great to eat!

Directions

Cream margarine, eggs and sugar, beat till well blended.

Add remaining ingredients for cake and beat till smooth.

Spread into a 9X13 greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Take out of oven and top with marshmallows.
Set aside while making Icing.

ICING -

Over medium heat, bring margarine, cocoa and coca-cola in sauce pan and bring to a boil.

Remove sauce pan from heat.
Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
Pour over the top of marshmallows.

This is such a good cake (brownie cake)...I started making it in the 1960's. It was always the cake my Daughter asked for every year for her birthday cake.
