Mandarin Marmalade Cake

I know, I know, cake from scratch is the best, but----sometimes we just need a great cake using a mix!

Ingredients

1 box
cake mix (white)
1 (11-oz) can(s)
mandarin oranges, undrained
1/4 c
water
6 Tbsp
butter, melted
2
eggs
1 c
whipping cream
2 Tbsp
powdered sugar
12 oz. jar(s)
orange marmalade (you'll only use some of this).
1 (11 oz) jar(s)
this one drained

Directions Step-By-Step

Set oven to 350 degrees. Combine first 5 ingredients. Beat 30 seconds on low and then on medium until well mixed.

Put into a greased 13X9X2 pan and bake for 28-33 minutes.

Cool completely.

For topping: Beat cream until soft peaks form; add sugar. Continue beating until stiff. Gently stir in 1 or 2 Tablespoons of marmalade. Garnish with oranges from the other can.
