Angela's Story

This is the best pound cake I have ever put into my mouth. It is so moist! This cake is a great cake for people that is beginning to bake as I am. You can add so much to this cake. Hope everyone enjoys it :)

Ingredients

2 stick
butter
1/2 c
criso shortening
3 c
sugar
5
eggs
3 c
all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
baking powder
1 c
milk
1 tsp
vanilla

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter and shortening together. Add sugar, a little at a time. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Sift together dry ingredients and add to mixture alternately with milk, starting with flour and ending with flour. Add vanilla. Pour into greased and floured tube pan or Bundt pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Cool for about 10 minutes on a cooling rack, then turn turn onto cake plate.

I've bought from Fante's several times. Their stuff is good quality. I bought my 16 cup angel food cake pan from them and although it was a little pricey, I'm very pleased with the quality and performance of that pan. I've used it many times.

I always have to double check my spelling haha , I figure I would give them until the end of the allotted time then I would notify pay pal . That would be great if they did but don't think it will happen . :)
