Loaf Pan Chocolate Cheese Cake

If it's chocolate you love in a cheese cake then this is for you. It's thick creamy chocolate topped with whipped topping and served.This cake will make 2 servings and is made in a 6x3x2-inch loaf pan (about).Double the recipe for 4 servings,if you like.

Ingredients

CRUST:

1/2 c
graham cracker crumbs
2 Tbsp
granulated sugar
2 Tbsp
butter, melted

FILLING:

1/2 c
semi-sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate ,if that's what you like)
1/2 c
cream cheese, room temperature (4 oz.)
2 Tbsp
granulated sugar
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
1 large
egg , slightly beaten, at room temperature

TOPPING:

2/3 c
whipped topping
Garnish:
chocolate curls, mini- chocolate chips or raspberries

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 325^. Line a loaf pan with foil and spray with cooking spray- be sure to leave foil hanging over ends of pan for easy removal.

Crust:
Combine ingredients and press into bottom of prepared pan.

Filling:
Melt chocolate chips in microwave,until melted stirring until smooth after each 30 second interval.
In a 2 quart mixing bowl,combine melted chocolate and cream cheese; beat until well mixed beat in egg, sugar and vanilla; stir until smooth.

Spoon mixture over graham crust;Place loaf pan in a cake pan and pour warm water into the cake pan so that the water comes 1/2 way up the side of the loaf pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove loaf pan from water and let cool on a wire rack to room temperature- about 1 hour.

Place cheese cake in refrigerator and chill for 4 hour or best overnight. About 1 hour before serving remove foil from pan with cake and spread whipped topping on top; then sprinkle with chocolate curls or garnish of choice.
