I wanted to make a cake edible for humans and dogs for my baby's 3rd birthday and i found this recipe. I called my veterinarian and asked him if the ingredients listed were toxic at all for dogs, and he gave me the green light to bake this cake. I made my own frosting. Give to your dog in moderate amounts as dogs do have a sensitive stomach

Ingredients For jo-jo's birthday cake (for dogs)
- DOG/HUMAN BIRTHDAY CAKE

1 cwhite flour
-
1 tspbaking soda

1/4 cpeanut butter
-
1/4 cvegetable oil

1 cshredded carrots
-
1/2 tspvanilla extract

2 Tbspsugar
-
1egg
- FROSTING
-
1 ccream cheese
-
2 Tbspstrawberry jam

1 cdog food

1Preheat oven to 350°F

2Mix together flour and baking soda

3Add remaining ingredients and mix well (i did this all in a food processor..it makes this recipe a lot easier to make)

4pour in to greased 13x5 pan

5cook for 35-40 min

6FROSTING: mix cream cheese and jelly in food processor with a splash of milk spread over finished "cake"

7*cut a piece of the cake for yourself before adding dog food*

8write happy birthday with pieces of dog food and decorate with dog treats
