Jamaica Me Crazy Pound Cake

- 1 1/2 large
- 1/4 c
- dark jamaican rum
- 1 pkg
- pound cake mix
- 1/2 c
- sour cream
- 1/2 tsp
- enough slivered almonds to sprinkle bottom of loaf pan liberally
1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2Mash bananas. Blend with eggs and rum.
3Beat into pound cake mix until smooth. Beat in sour cream and nautmeg.
4Butter a 9 x5 x 3 inch loaf pan and sprinkle with almonds.
5Pour batter into pan. Bake for 70 - 75 minutes.
6Plaace on wire rack to cool about 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool thoroughly before cutting.
