Ice cream cone cupcakes

1 pkg 18 1/4 ounce cake mix plus ingredients to make
2 Tbsp non pareils
2 pkg flat bottom ice cream cones
1 can(s) frosting or make your own
any edible decorations

These are so adorable! I wish I had taken a picture when I made them for my daughters classroom years ago.

Preheat oven to 350.
Prepare cake according to directions. Add in nonpareils.
Spoon 1/4 cup batter into each ice cream cone.
Stand cones on cookie sheet. Bake cones until toothpick comes out clean about 20 mins. Cool on wire rack.
Frost and decorate as you like. Best served the same day.
