Homemade White Cake...
2 3/4 c
3 1/2 tsp
cream of tartar
1 1/2 c
1Heat oven to 350F.
2Then mix together the wet ingredients in a meduim bowl, all but the egg & suagr. hen add sift together the dry ingredenits in a large bowl. Then slowly add the dry to wet & mix on low speed until batter is smooth.
3In a medium bowl beat the egg whites & sugar until frothy. Then add in the cream of tartar & continue to beating until egg whites are stiff.
4Then gradually fold this mixer into the batter & make sure not to over mix.
5Pour into 2 waxed paper lined 9-inch layer pans.
6Then bake for about 35 to 40 mins. Then frost as you wish.

This recipe doesn't make sense..it is stated to sift first 6 ingredients..that is not all dry..there are only 5 dry ingredients in the recipe...please help...it looks like a great recipe...I would love to try this...thanks
