1Preheat oven to 375 and grease a 18″x13″ cookie sheet.
2Mix flour, sugar, salt, eggs, and vanilla in a bowl.
3Mix the baking soda into the buttermilk and then add it to your other ingredients.
4Boil butter, cocoa, and water for 2 minutes and then add it to your mixing bowl.
5Mix well and pour batter into a greased 18×13″ cookie sheet.
6Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes
7While the cake is baking prepare the frosting.
8In a medium saucepan heat butter until melted. Add cocoa and stir until it is dissolved. Add milk and vanilla and bring to a boil. Let boil for 1 minute.
9Add confectioners sugar and stir until the sugar is well incorporated.
109. Pour hot frosting onto hot cake.
