Ingredients For great-aunt thelma's mandarin orange cake

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 4
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    oil
  • 1 can
    11 ounce mandarin oranges with juice
  • FROSTING FOR MANDARIN ORANGE CAKE
  • 1 pkg
    instant vanilla pudding
  • 16 oz
    can crushed pineapple - well drained and save
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 4 oz
    or half a carton of cool whip

How To Make great-aunt thelma's mandarin orange cake

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix and bake cake in 9x13 pan as directed for 35 minutes. Cool.

    Blend pineapple juice and pudding. Add the powdered sugar, and mix well. Then add the whipped cream. Spread on the cooled cake and refrigerate.
