Ingredients
| 1 1/2 c | sugar |
| 2 c | all-purpose flour |
| 1 tsp | baking soda |
| 1 tsp | salt |
| 2 | eggs |
| 2 c | crushed pineapple (one 15 oz can, do not drain) |
| 1/3 c | brown sugar, firmly packed |
| 1/2 c | walnuts (chopped or cut up halves) |
| 1 c | canned milk (evaporated) |
| 1 stick | margarine |
| 1 tsp | vanilla |

Directions
Mix together first 4 ingredients (sugar, flour, soda & salt.)Then add in eggs and crushed pineapple. Mix with spoon until all moistened.Pour into a 9x13" greased pan.Sprinkle 1/3 cup brown sugar and the walnuts over the cake mixture.Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. ( no need to cover)Boil 1 cup canned milk with 1 stick of margarine and 1 teaspoon vanilla. (just to boil and take off heat)Pour the milk mixture over the warm cake.Cut into squares and serve with ice cream and/or whipped cream. Keep pan covered so it doesn't dry out.
