My Grandma Bessie use to make this cake for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinners, or on Sundays when the family would come over. I remember watching her make it a lot and am blessed she gave me the recipe before she passed in 2007. She sure is missed!
Her words: Take 13x9 pan, put nuts and coconut in bottom. Put mixed cake mix on top. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, ¼ cup oleo (margarine). Drop on top of un-cooked cake mix in pan. Powdered sugar mix will bake into the cake. Bake for 35-38 minutes. Cool and serve.
