German Chocolate Cheesecake

This is a great way to enjoy both cheese cake and german chocolate cake. The recipe would be easy to modify for the calorie conscious. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1 pkg
german chocolate cake mix with pudding
16 oz
cream cheese
4
eggs
1 1/2 c
sugar

FROSTING

1 c
milnot
1 c
sugar
1 c
flaked coconut
1 c
chopped pecans
1/2 c
butter
3
egg yolks
1 Tbsp
vanilla

Step-By-Step

1Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour 1/2 batter into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. In seperate bowl, whip cream cheese, eggs and sugar. Pour this cheese mixture over the batter in the pan. Then add remaining batter. Bake at 325 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours. Cool completerly and then frost.
2Combine all frosting ingedients in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until it thickens. Cool. Spread over cooled cake. Keep cake refrigerated.
