German Chocolate Caramel Brownies

- 1 pkg
- cake mix, german chocolate
- 1/3 c
- evaporated milk
- 3/4 c
- butter, melted
- 1 pkg
- 14oz. caramels
- 1 c
- chocolate chips
- 1/2 c
- choppd nuts if desired (pecans,walnuts)
1Mix the first 3 ingredients. Put half (or a little less) of the mixture in a 9x13" pan.
2Bake at 350* for 6 minutes. Melt package of caramels on low heat or in microwave. Put 1/3 cup evaporated milk with the caramels.
3Pour the caramel mixture over the chocolate mixture when you remove it from the oven..Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the caramel mixture and chopped nuts.
4Put the rest of the cake mix on top, you may need to add a little more milk to the mixture if hard to spread. Bake for 18-20 min. more..Enjoy....
