apples and raisins. Pour mixture evenly into Brown Sugar Walnut Crust and bake
at 350 for 40 minutes or until top is lightly browned. Allow to cool in pan.
Decorate with a faint sprinkling of powdered sugar and cut into wedges to serve.
Brown Sugar Walnut Crust:
1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
In large bowl of mixer, beat together flour, sugar and butter until mixture
resembles coarse meal. Stir in the walnuts. Pat mixture evenly on the bottom of
a 10" springform pan and bake in a 350 oven for 8 minutes. Allow to cool for 5
minutes before filling.
