This is a very old recipe. It's a dense cake and very yummy. I hope you enjoy it.

Ingredients

HONEY GLAZE

1 c
icing sugar
2 Tbsp
honey
2 Tbsp
milk

APPLE CAKE

4 medium
apples, diced
1 c
lightly toasted pecans, chopped
2 tsp
pure vanilla extract
2 tsp
ground cinnamon
3 c
flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
3 large
eggs
2 c
sugar
1 1/4 c
vegetable oil

Step-By-Step

1Combine icing sugar, honey and milk in a small bowl. Set aside.
2Preheat oven to 325 F. Lightly grease or spray a Bundt pan or tube pan.
3In a large bowl combine apples, vanilla, pecans and cinnamon. In a separate bowl sift flour, baking soda and salt. Add to apple mixture and stir to combine.
4in a separate bowl, beat together eggs, sugar and oil. Add to the apple/flour mixture and stir with a wooden spoon to combine. The mixture will be very thick and your arm/wrist will get a good workout.
5Scrape the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until a tester inserted in the middle comes out clean.
6Allow the cake to cool fully in the pan and then turn out onto a plate. Drizzle the honey glaze over the cake.
