1 box cake mix, butter flavor
4 large eggs
1/2 c sugar
3/4 c oil
8 oz sour cream
1 tsp coconut extract
1 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp lemon extract

my mom made a cake similar to this cake years ago and i lost the recipe. when i found this recipe, it taste so much like the cake my mom made. it is so moist and everyone loves it.

Mix all ingredients together except the flavorings. Mix well and then add the flavorings. Spray a bundt or tube pan with pam. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Let cool before transfering to a plate.

Another keeper, I also have a wonderful pound cake recipe that I do not share and not many have it. I like this to add to the recipe file. Will try this out on the family too, they are all pound cake lovers. Thanks

i sure wish you would share it with me. i love pound cakes. i made this pound cake the other day and my son-in-law came by and said he could eat that whole cake. he said it was the best he had ever ate. i love new recipes.

Yes that is the way a pound cake is if it is moist and good. My mother taught me this. Make a pound cake two days before you are going to serve it and keep in well tight cake cover. Never use anything but real butter and it is ok to use salted butter. The butter sets up the pound cake and is very rich in flavor after the two day wait. We never let the pound cake stay uncovered due to they will dry out quickly after sliced.
