Cook raisins in water until only 1 cup liquid remains. Add hot liquid to shortening. Set aside and let cool. Beat eggs and sugar together. Stir in Shortening mixture. Blend in dry ingredients. Fold in raisins. Spread in greased 10x15 cookie sheet with edges. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 min. Frost with powdered sugar frosting while still warm. Cut into squares.
