Easy Snicker Cake

- german chocolate cake mix
- individual wrap kraft caramels
- stick butter
- cup milk
- 6 oz
- pkg chocolate chips
- chopped nuts,your choice, amount to taste
1Bake cake as directed. Pour half of batter in 9x13 pan, sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 250.
2While cake is baking, melt caramels, butter and milk in microwave, stir till smooth. Pour over cake in pan and sprinkle chocolate chips and your choice nuts over caramel. Top with remaining cake batter.
3Bake at 250 for 20 minutes. Increase oven to 350 and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool several hours before cutting. Serve with ice cream.
