I can't remember where I heard about this receipe but when I went home and told my mother about it, my sister told me mom used to make the cakes this way all the time. It sounds strange, but it does work and the cake is moist and full of goodness.

1This so simple it's almost embarrassing to write. I use two round pans, I also use the Crisco with flour spray for my pans. It doesn't matter what kind of cake mix or pie filling. The last one I did was a chocolate cake mix with cherry pie filling. All you do is mix the cake mix and pie filling, I beat the eggs before I put them in. However many eggs the cake mix calls for that's how many you use, I put the oil in, however I think it is actually optional.

2I make a simple glaze, of powered sugar, vanilla, milk and butter;and puncture holes in the cake and pour it over it and in the holes, it is all ooooie gooie goodness. The next one I want to make is a butter mix with peaches maybe a caramel frosting.

3Bake according to cake mix directions.
