A fun cake and very good.
Nuts and coconut represent rocks
Chocolate cake is dirt.
Butter mixture that cooks through the cake represents lava from an earthquake.

Ingredients

1 c
flaked coconut
1-8 oz
cream cheese, softened
1 c
chopped pecans
1 box
german chocolate cake mix
1 lb
box powdered sugar
1/2 c
softened butter

Step-By-Step

1Spread flaked coconut on the bottom of a greased 9 x 13"baking dish. Spread chopped pecans over coconut.
2Mix german chocolate cake mix according to package directions. Pour on top of coconut and nuts.
3Mix together 1/2 cup softened butter , softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy. Drop dallops by spoon onto cake mix. Do not stir.
4Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until tester comes out clean between dallops.
