Easy! Also called "Raw Apple Cake" I like to tell where recipes come from; this one came from my church friend Melinda's Mom. After one piece, I couldn't stop eating it, thanks, Melinda, for passing this on!

peeled, thinly sliced apples (macs or cortlands)

flour
1 c

sugar
1 tsp

baking soda
1 tsp

cinnamon
1/4 tsp

salt
1/4 c

oil

1/2-3/4 c

finely chopped walnuts

How To Make delicious apple cake

Grease an 8" x 8" dish. Combine dry ingredients first, then thoroughly mix everything until moist & bowl dumps out "clean" into your baking dish. Bake at 350 in a greased 15" rectangular pan/dish at 350° for 45 minutes

To DOUBLE the recipe... Completely double all measurements except the nuts. About 3/4 c. walnuts is sufficient for a double recipe. You may want to cut back a little on the sugar too;…maybe use 1 ½ - 1 ¾ c. (Play that by ear, as they say.) Bake for one hour.
