I have this in baking right now for my hubby's 40th bday cake. The very first baked cheesecake I have ever made. My brownie mix that I reserved out was very watery once I added the water to it. Is it suppose to be runny like that? How long should it take to beat the cream cheese until fluffy? Sure hope I did it right.

OMG! Thank You so much for this amazing recipe! It was so delicious! My family loved it and it is definatly one I plan to make again in the future. The only thing I can see that I would do different is maybe underbake the brownie crust a bit so it doesnt overbake later. The center of the cheesecake wasn't quite set as much as should have been either. Think I will make these adjustments next time. Every oven is different.

Made this recipe for my family, and will be making it again on Wednesday for my husband's birthday! It's awesome! A spoonful (or two!) of Cool-Whip and the mini chocolate chips really make a pretty and delicious garnish. The only change I made was adding less water to the brownie mix. If I can figure out how to add pictures I will do so! LOL!
