- egg yolks
- 1/2 tsp
- 1/2 c
- powdered sugar
- 1/4 c

1Add salt to eggs and beat until thick and lemon colored.
2Add sugar, butter, and vanilla and continue to beat.
3Fold in flour and knead until dough blisters.
4Cut in half roll very thin and cut into strips 4 inches long.
5Slit in center of each piece and pull one end through the slit.
6Fry in crisco until lightly browned. Drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
