Super chocolaty, moist AND easy?! Yes, please! We couldn't wait to try this one and were thrilled with both the unique cooking technique and the finished product. Top it off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you've got one top-notch dessert.

Directions

1
Mix first 6 items till almost mix well (I like mixer set to low).
2
then add choclate chip mix in by hand.
3
Spray a large crock pot with non-stick spray.(If your pot runs a little hot, Line it with heavy duty alumi foil)
4
Cook on low 4 to 5 hours.(DON'T OPEN THE LID !!!)
5
Serve with vanilla ice cream and drizzle with chocolate syrup.

This sounds like a great cake to make in the summer when you don't want to heat up the house! One question..do you just scoop it out of the crock pot or turn it out onto a dish?

If you double the recipe for a large event how much time should be added?

I never tried it with yellow cake,so I don't know what you would get.
also I don't think you CAN'T double the recipe. It fills up a cock-pot when it done.If you need more cake you will need to make them in more than one crock-pot.

A large crock pot(family size) 5 quarts or larger. Any shape works fine. The small ones like for dip or 1-2 people are two small.
