Can be used to frost a white cake or can easily be transformed into another flavor by substituting a different extract.
To make with Prosperity Cake, use the substitution following the recipe.

frosts 2 8 inch cake layers or 1 13x9 rectangle cake

Method:

No-Cook or Other

Ingredients

1/2 c
shortening
6 c
sifted powdered sugar, divided
3 Tbsp
milk
2 tsp
clear vanilla extract
additional milk

Directions Step-By-Step

Beat shortening in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until fluffy.

Gradually beat in 3 cups sugar until well blended and smooth.

Carefully beat in 3 tablespoons milk and vanilla.

Gradually beat in remaining 3 cups sugar, adding more milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, as needed for good spreading consistency.

Store in refrigerator.
To make Orange flavored frosting, Instead of milk bind the icing together with freshly squeezed orange juice as well as including the zest of an entire orange.
