Ingredients

1 pkg orange supreme cake mix
1 pkg orange gelatin
1/2 c boiling water
1/2 c cold water
TOPPING INGREDIENTS
1 small frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 1/2 c milk
1 small instant vanilla pudding mix, unprepared
orange flavoring

This cake brings back so many childhood memories for me. I always loved Creamsicles and this recipe duplicates that same special flavor. You won't have any leftovers of this one...

 

Directions

Mix cake as directed on box for 9x13" pan. Cool.

Punch holes with meat fork. Mix jello with boiling water and cold water and pour over cake. Refrigerate cake for 1 hour to set.

TOPPING: Mix pudding with milk. Add a few drops of orange flavoring to taste.

Then fold in cool whip.

Frost as thick as you like and keep refrigerated.

Having a birthday party for my sister on Friday. Told her about this cake, and it is the one she requested! Have made many poke n pour cakes, but not one of this flavor. Will let you know how well it is liked. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

I'm glad I came across this receipe. I was just thinking about this past week that i wished I could find a receipe for a dreamsicle flavored cake and I think I found it can,t wait to try it! Thanks

We do one layer witgh green jello and one layer with red, then frost with Coolwhip, for Christmas!!

Stephanie, Duncan Hines makes an orange cake mix. If you can't find one, you may try to add little orange flavoring and food coloring to a white or yellow cake mix.

If you can't find orange cake mix, replace the water in the a box or plain white cake with orange juice. If you want a stronger orange flavor use undiluted concentrate.
