An all time family favorite. Not to sweet, can use sugar substitute and lite cool whip to lower calorie intake. Goes well with cake, pie, etc. Never have left overs with this one. Enjoy

This has been a long time favorite of mine for years. It's great with so many recipes, esp angel food cake w/pineapple, etc. Can also add a little cocoa to make a lite chocolate icing.

Beverly i make one similar to this, but i use 8oz of sour cream instead of cool whip and you are right goes with so many things and can me colored or flavored with anything

Will this recipe hold up to travel about 30 minutes in the car or will it melt?

Tee, I think it should be fine, just don't set it in the sun, and also you could put a couple of ice packs around your cake carrier to keep it cool
