Coconut Sour Cream Cake

I got this recipe from my aunt Delores years ago.
It is THE most moist , delicious coconut cake I have ever tasted

Ingredients

1 pkg
yellow cake mix, cooked per directions on box
16 oz
sour cream
1 1/2 c
whipped topping
2 c
sugar
12 oz
package frozen coconut, thawed

Step-By-Step

1Cook yellow cake according to directions on box,
then split each cake to make 4 layers
Allow to cool
2Combine sugar, sour cream and coconut and blend well. Chill.
Reserve 1 Cup for later
3Spread the remainder of the sour cream mixture between layers of the cake
4Beat the reserved 1 Cup sour cream mixture with the whipped topping and spread on top of cake

STORE IN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER IN FRIDGE FOR AT LEAST 2 DAYS BEFORE SERVING

OMG- SO good!
