Ingredients

1 c
evaporated milk
1 c
granulated sugar
3
egg yolks beaten
1/2 c
butter
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 1/3 c
shredded coconut
1 c
chopped pecans

Directions Step-By-Step

In medium sized sauce pan combine evaporated milk,
sugar,egg yolks and butter.Cook over medium heat
until thickened (about 12 minutes)stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat and add coconut, vanilla extract
and chopped pecans.Stir then allow to cool to spreading consistency,stirring occasionally.
