EASY COCONUT PECAN FROSTING (SALLYE)

Ingredients

1 c
butter (2 sticks)
1 can(s)
eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
1 large
egg yolk slightly beaten
2 c
shredded coconut
1-1/2 c
coarsely chopped pecans

Directions Step-By-Step

Melt butter over medium high heat in a heavy saucepan.

When butter is melted, add condensed milk and egg yolk.

Stir constantly until mixture is boiling.

Once mixture is boiling, remove from heat.

Add pecans and coconut and stir until well blended.

Allow to cool completely before using to allow icing to firm up.
