Cinnamon Coffee Cake (Sour Cream)

Ingredients

1 c
butter
3/4
sugar, divided
2 tsp
vanilla
4
eggs
3 c
flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
16 oz
sour cream
2 Tbsp
cinnamon
1/2 c
chopped walnuts

Step-By-Step

1In a large bowl, cream butter and 2 cups sugar until fluffy.
2Add vanilla.
3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
5Add alternately with sour cream, beating enough after each addition to keep batter smooth.
6Spoon 1/3 of the batter into a greased 10" tube pan.
7Combine remaining sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
8Sprinkle over batter.
9Repeat layers two more times.
10Bake at 350 degrees for 70 minutes or until cake tests done.
11Cool for 10 minutes, remove cake to wire rack to cool completely.
