had something similar to this at a friend's christmas party and it inspired me to try a recipe of my own!

Ingredients For chocolate pound cake

  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 3 stick
    butter
  • 5
    eggs
  • 3 c
    cake flour
  • 4 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla

How To Make chocolate pound cake

    Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2
    Mix sugar with butter; add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Add vanilla.

    Mix together dry ingredients.
  • 4
    Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to butter mixture, beginning with flour and ending with flour.

    Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for about 1 hour.
