Notes from the Test Kitchen:
This is such a decadent chocolate cake. The sour cream really makes it moist. The cream cheese Oreo filling is so delicious, I had to make myself quit tasting it so there was enough for the cake (oops!). The fudge really takes this cake over the top. It's real good!
Mix cake mix, sour cream, milk, oil, and eggs together on low for 1 minute. After 1 minute, scrape down sides and mix batter an additional 2 minutes. Divide batter between the two 9 inch pans. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove cakes and place on cooling rack to completley cool.
Beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Beat sugar and cream cheese together till smooth.
Fold whipping cream and Oreo’s into cream cheese mixture.
Reserve 1 cup of the whipping cream mixture to use on top of cake. Warm up some hot fudge sauce and drizzle around the edges of cake. Crush more Oreo’s and place on top of cake. Take the Oreo's halfs and place them around the edge as decorations.
