For kids - old and young. The mixes make it easy - and good tasting. Eat warm with milk or coffee. It is a snack cake.

1 or 2 pkg
chocolate chip muffin mix
milk
as asked for on the muffin package(s)
egg(s)
as asked for on the package(s)
oil
as asked for on the package(s)
2 Tbsp
milk as called for on the package(s)
1 or 2 Tbsp
butter or margarine
1/2 tsp
vanilla flavoring
powdered sugar to make a soft, runny icing
ADD - ONS
2/3 c
caramel topping
3/4 c
mini morsels
3/4 c
pecan piesce

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Prepare an 8x8 in. or 9x9 in. baking pan - grease lightly and flour lightly.
for a large cake, use greased and floured 9x13 in. pan

Pour muffin mix(es) into a large cooking bowl.

Add liquid ingedients,one at a time - slowly. Do not over beat the mixture. When well blended, pour into the pan. Bake as directed, checking at 25 min. Add more time, testing every 5 min. Knife should come out clean.

Cool - you can serve it warm or cooled.
Drizzle white frosting over or serve with a drizzle of chocolate syrup or both. Try caramel topping, warmed in the microwave.
Add 1 tsp mini morsels plua 1 tsp pecan pieces over caramel topping

Or serve with vanilla or fudge stripe ice cream
