Chocolate Cherry Chunk Cake

This is a recipe from one of my baking co-workers and it is really good!!

Ingredients

1
chocolate fudge cake mix
2
eggs
1 can(s)
cherry pie filling (21 oz.)
3/4 c
chopped pecans
3/4 c
chocolate chips
1/2 c
brown sugar

Directions

1
Mix together cake mix, eggs, and pie filling. Pour into a greased 9 x 13" pan. Sprinkle with nuts, chips, and brown sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes. May wish to keep refrigerated if any left over!

    This sounds delicious! It's saved to my recipe box ... I'll make it after we finish the carrot cake, the strawberry valentine cake, and the other stuff I've frozen. Geeze ... this is not making my weight watching any easier! ha!

    I have everything I need right in my pantry! Only trouble is, we still have half of the Upsidedown Apple Pecan Pie to finish first. Terrie, at the rate I'm going, I won't be wearing shorts this summer.

    I'm right along side of you, Thea. Geeeeeze....
    ...and I, too, have to finish off the carrot cake, the girl scout cookies, the strawberries and cream valentine cake .... gawd. So much food, so little time.
