Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease & flour a jelly roll pan/cookie sheet with sides
Combine ingredients, except Cherry Pie Filling, in a large mixing bowl. Blend well according to directions on cake mix box, then stir in (with mixing spoon) Cherry Pie Filling (Do not use electric mixer)
Pour mixture into prepared pan & bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes.
Combine sugar, butter & milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil & boil for 2 min., stirring constantly. Remove from heat & add chocolate chips & stir until smooth. Pour over cake, spreading to completely cover.
