This is a very old recipe that has been handed down through my family. It will handle anyone's sweet tooth.

1 boxlight brown sugar

1/2 cgranulated sugar

2 call purpose flour

How To Make chess cake

1In a sauce pan over low heat, melt the butter and brown sugar, then remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients, mixing well.

2Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Transfer cake batter to a prepared 13 x 9 x 2 pan and bake 45 minutes. There will be very moist crumbs when tested. Dust with powdered sugar while still warm.

3This can also be rolled in walnut sized balls and rolled in powdered while still warm. Butter hands well to prevent sticking and take care to not burn yourself.
