CHERRY CHEESE CAKE
By amber frazier amberfrazier
MY GRANNY HAS MADE THIS RECIPES FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER. SHE ALWAYS HAD THIS AS ONE OF THE GREAT DESERTS ON THE TABLE FOR CHRISTMAS OR THANKSGIVING. I AM NOT EXACTLY SURE WHERE SHE GOT THIS RECIPE FROM OR IF SHE MADE IT ALL ON HER OWN, BUT I HAVE BROUGHT THIS FROM HER FAMILY TO MINE. MY KIDS AND HUSBAND LOVES THIS RECIPE, IT IS USUALLY A BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR MY HUSBAND HE IS NOT A CAKE EATER.

Amber, this sounds delicious. I just want to make sure I am going to do this right...do I divide the sugar to 1/c of each one for each separate pie? It sounds like a winner and I think your Grandma was a great cook! Thanks for sharing... Can't wait to make your recipe. :) Gayle

Gayle when I do this I do each pie with a whole cup of sugar, my grandmother always added a little more, but to me hers was a little too sweet. Yes mam she is a great cook. Just a tip on this you want to leave the cream cheese kinda chunky because it gives the pie a great texture. Also it will be creamy not pressed like ordinary cheesecake. I hope you enjoy this recipe. Thanks for trying.
