IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL MIX SUGAR WITH 1 BLOCK OF CREAM CHEESE LEAVE THE CREAM CHEESE CHUNKY (YOU WILL NEED TO MIX INGREDIENTS 2 SEPERATE TIMES SO PIES WILL FILL) 1TSP. VANILLA 1 CONTAINER WHIPPED CREAM AND 2 TBSP CHERRY FILLING. SWEETEN TO TASTE.PUT INGREDIENTS IN PIE CRUST THEN POUR CHERRIES OVER THE TOP 1 CAN PER PIE. CHILL OVER NIGHT.

Amber, this sounds delicious. I just want to make sure I am going to do this right...do I divide the sugar to 1/c of each one for each separate pie? It sounds like a winner and I think your Grandma was a great cook! Thanks for sharing... Can't wait to make your recipe. :) Gayle

Gayle when I do this I do each pie with a whole cup of sugar, my grandmother always added a little more, but to me hers was a little too sweet. Yes mam she is a great cook. Just a tip on this you want to leave the cream cheese kinda chunky because it gives the pie a great texture. Also it will be creamy not pressed like ordinary cheesecake. I hope you enjoy this recipe.
