Carol's Cranberry Christmas Cake
Mine was done at exactly 40 minutes ~ Electric stove

- 2 c
- 3/4 c
- butter, softened
- 1 tsp
- almond extract
- 2 c
- all purpose flour
- 12 oz
- fresh cranberries
I ADDED FINELY CHOPPED ALMONDS ~ ABOUT 1/2 TO 1 CUP TO TASTE
5Stir in the flour until just combined. Add the cranberries and chopped almonds and stir to mix throughout.
6Spread in a buttered 13"x9" pan.
Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until very lightly browned and a toothpick inserted near the center of the cake comes out clean. (I baked mine 40 minutes.)
