- sweetened condensed milk

- pecans, coarsely chopped
1Reheat oven to 350 degrees.
2Prepare cake mix as package directs; pour 2 cups
batter into greased 13x9-inch baking pan and bake 15 minutes.
3In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt caramels and margarine.
4Remove from heat; add condensed milk and mix well.
5Spread caramel over cake; spread remaining cake
batter over caramel and top with nuts.
6Bake 30 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.
