How To Make cake batter cookies
-
Step 1Sift together flour, cake mix & baking soda; reserve.
-
Step 2In a stand mixer with paddle, beat butter & sugars until blended. Add egg & extract; beat until creamy. Beat in flour mixture until combined; don't overmix. Stir in chips & sprinkles. Cover & refrigerate 2 hours (or up to 4 days).
-
Step 3Let dough soften slightly at room temperature before baking; at least 45 minutes - 1 hour.
-
Step 4Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
-
Step 5Drop rounded tbsp of dough onto ungreased baking sheets. Shape balls to be taller than they are wide, chill dough not in use. Bake 10 - 12 minutes, until edges are slightly browned. Centers will appear very soft; cookies will set as they cool. Cool 4 minutes before pulling completely on rack.
